The study activity model has been tested in pilot experiments in the 7th semester of the Economy-programme. The science subjects, mathematics and physics, have fostered many students across health sciences, natural sciences, technical and engineering programmes. By strengthening the students' understanding of academic links between pure mathematics and its scope, the experience of relevance and motivation for the subject is strengthened.

First.math 2.0 is extra courses in mathematics adapted to the 'academia' of different study programmes, so that the students have the opportunity to put mathematics into an application-oriented framework and thus better understand and can apply the methods in the future.
