How can challenging subjects be rethought?
Basic auxiliary- and tool subjects must have the academic competence of the programme integrated into them, so that it relates to the programme and becomes meaningful to the students. If basic subjects are not directly linked to the core subject of the programme, they may be perceived as less meaningful, which may affect the students' motivation for the subject and the programme.
